A short Gothic story that follows Séverine de Shoulières, a vampire perfumier who does her best to hide her vampirism as she navigates life in the fashionable city of Verdeux. Unlike her hedonistic twin brother, the charming poet, Wilfred de Shoulières, Séverine sees her vampirism as a mere distraction, focusing all her attention on her pride and joy, her perfumery…'Séverine's Perfumery' will be my first original webcomic project and will be a lot shorter than 'Search for Quintessence.' They're set in the same world but I would hesitate to call 'Séverine's Perfumery' a prequel because they're not very connected! This story is a love letter to 18th and 19th century Gothic literature, a genre that I am very passionate about!

-Orolin is obsessed with botany and the symbolism behind flowers and has a herbarium filled with pressed plants that she's collected. Her favourite flowers are lilies of the valley.

Despite how exciting his life sounds to somebody like Orolin, Willow finds himself just going through the motions every day and doesn't find it easy to imagine anything more for his life. It's not until he agrees to Orolin's mother's request to accompany the young mage in her quest to join a mage fellowship, that Willow decides to break the monotony of his life thus far.Willow is a man of few words who is often mistaken for being rude simply due to his silent, stoic demeanour, but in reality he just has a rather introverted personality. He has a deep oaken voice and a gentle soul that takes a little time to reveal itself.Trivia:
- His favourite flowers are daisies.
- Willow has an interest in swords even though he has very little experience with sword-craft. It's one of the few things that can make his usually very apathetic face light up.

She pours her heart and soul into her little shop and, if anything, her vampirism is really just a distraction to her. Sometimes she believes she thinks about it less than she should.She's highly practical and tends to just drink blood out of vials (which horrifies her brother), seeing it as simply a necessity and rarely thinking about it further than that.Trivia:
- though most people think her brother, Wilfred, is younger, Séverine is actually the younger twin.
- She thinks spiders are really cute and goes by 'Arachne' if she ever has to use an alias.

Years ago, Tatiana had been sent to stake Clemence by the other villagers of Crescențiu, but quickly came to realise that Clemence could do no harm.Tatiana is certainly a woman of action, known for being reliable, sensible and the first person one should go to if they want a job done, though her sympathetic nature sometimes makes her too lenient. Because of her past as one of Crescențiu's huntresses, she's handy with weapons and her fists.Despite marrying the vampire she was sent to slay, Tatiana is somehow the most put together and responsible out of everybody in this story.Trivia:
-those closest to her call her 'Tanea'.

He has now moved to Verdeux city, in search of vampires and their secrets of eternal life.He is very self-serious and feverish about his research but aside from that, he has a very reserved personality.Trivia:
- he is good with a pen and used to work as a scribe, doing illuminations for his monastery. He didn't have a particular passion for art but liked the praise and approval it got him from the other Furia.

Height: 5'11Porphyry is one of the oldest vampires you can meet in Verdeux city, but most other vampires think she is newly turned as she's still so bloodthirsty and ruthless. She's good friends with Séverine and provides her with extra vials of blood to sell at her shop.When she was alive, she was of the order of the Serpentine, working as a priestess to a snake Goddess. This faith has long been forgotten.Having lived so long Porphyry lives by a different set of morality making her somewhat of a wild card.

Now their wound has closed but they still cannot fly.Feiyan is a close friend of Séverine's and provides her with enchanted crystals for her shop. Unlike Séverine's other best friend, Porphyry, Feiyan is very chill and laid-back which has unexpectedly earned them some very powerful connections...
